A homeowner wanted a custom steel screen door that looked sharp and could be serviced easily. I built a welded frame with heavy-duty hinges, a removable screen cassette (swap the mesh anytime), and a keyed lockset with hidden fasteners. The door includes weatherstrip, a clean threshold fit, and a durable powder-coat finish. Per their request, I added a Texas star detail for a personal touch. The result is a secure, low-maintenance door that stands up to West Texas weather and stands out at the entry.
